Coconut shell or coal-based carbon — which wins?
Coconut shell carbon loads gold faster and harder, so life-cycle cost is usually lower even when the per-ton price is higher — that is why most gold plants standardize on it.
What specs should gold CIP/CIL carbon meet?
Typically iodine 1000–1300 mg/g, hardness ≥98%, moisture ≤8%, low ash, in 6×12 mesh or 3×6 mm. Every batch ships with a COA.
Do you provide samples? What is the MOQ?
Yes. The standard 500 g sample is free. International courier charges are paid by the buyer; shipping within mainland China is included. Larger trial lots are quoted separately. Production MOQ is one 20 ft container (approximately 16–18 t). Trial quantities from 25 kg and consolidated shipments for African buyers are available on request.
How do I verify a Chinese activated carbon supplier?
Check the plant address, ask for a live video tour of the production line, and order a trial bag to test against the COA in your own lab.
How much does gold recovery carbon cost per ton?
We do not publish a list price, because gold carbon covers very different specifications. The price depends on the iodine band you specify, the hardness guaranteed in the contract, the mesh cut, the packing and the volume ordered. Send your tonnage and circuit (CIP or CIL) and we quote a specification-based price within 24 hours, with the batch COA attached.
How long does shipping take from China to West Africa?
About 5–7 weeks door to port: 10–15 days production and QC, then 25–35 days sea freight to Tema, Abidjan or Dakar, plus trucking inland for Mali and Burkina Faso.
